ASSISTANT SYSTEMS ENGINEER designation will stay with u for 4 yrs.
during which 1yr will be ASE-trainee. later 3 yrs u will hold the role of developer and so on...
and the work u r going to do depends on the project...
few things to say..
1) if u r lucky enough to get a development work... you wil be a developer for next 2-3 yrs.
2) you may get a testing proj. which is next best to development/
3) you may get a technical support which starts ur nightmares...
so... dont except much... try to join a development proj.. which gives a good start to your career/
